PAUL'S TIPS
Goggles
With all the fresh snow around, goggles should be very useful. The most
expensive goggle will fog up if used incorrectly, and even a basic goggle can
stay fog free, if you follow a few basic rules.
Always put your goggles on while in your car, or before you go outside the
lodge, never wipe the inside of your goggle lens, as this will wipe away the
anti fog coating, don't use any spray on, anti fog liquids, they are meant for
you glasses that go under your goggles.
Keep the air vent clear, on top of your goggle, as the air flow that enters the
base of the goggle, and exits the top, is what keeps the moisture from building
up.
Don't lift the goggle up onto your forehead while on the lift, as there is
usually snow up there.
To keep the lens free of scratches, never put your goggle face down on a table
or bench, put it in the bag that came with them, and if you want to take your
goggles off, and use sunglasses, don't put them into a pocket on your parka,
just turn them around on your head so they face backwards. My goggles last me
over 10 years, without any scratches or fogging up, yours should also.
