PAUL'S TIPS
What
socks should you have
The bad old days of Leather alpine ski boots are long gone, they were so cold,
that you had to wear very thick socks.
Next came the poor fitting plastic ski boots, and to get some degree of comfort,
again you had to wear thick socks.
These days with computer designed and manufactured ski boots, with heat moulding
liners, all you need is very thin socks, in fact, in most cases, if the boot is
a good fit, putting on a thick sock will make your feet very cold, as it slows
the blood flow down, but a thin sock lets the blood flow fast, and keeps your
foot warm.
Always wear clean socks everyday, as a dirty sock is a poor insulator.
